Plant your words

One per line or separated by commas. Up to 40 entries and 4,000 characters. English A–Z, 2–20 letters per word; spaces, apostrophes and hyphens are removed.

The same words, size, directions and seed make the same puzzle. “New arrangement” changes only the seed.

A small grid may not fit every word. We’ll tell you exactly which entries weren’t placed. Random filler can make extra words by chance.

Gentle or a little tricky.

Easy hides words right and down. Medium adds downward diagonals. Hard uses all eight directions.

03 / TAKE IT OFFLINE

Paper, pencil, a pause.
